119 Gin – Gin PREMIUM

119 Gin is a Premium gin, London Dry Gin type, 40 proof, handcrafted by double distillation in traditional copper stills, in small batches of 500 liters.
The botanicals used are: juniper berries, cardamom seeds, ginger root, lemon peel, angelica root, and 24 other botanicals, which make up its secret formula and give it a Mediterranean touch.

It is a gin produced by Carmelitano distilleries in Benicasim, Castellón. The name of the brand comes from the number of years the distillery has been in operation (since 1896), at the time of the birth of this product.

Tasting notes:

The final product is crystalline, with aromas and flavors of juniper, cardamom, ginger and fresh herbaceous notes; it is silky and balsamic on the palate, ending with a pleasant citrus aftertaste.

Perfect serve:

In a balloon glass, with plenty of ice, measure 5 cl. of gin 119 and 20 cl. of soda. It is especially recommended for the classic gin and tonic, although it also mixes perfectly with ginger ale as a cocktail. We will use classic tonic, with a slice of fresh ginger and mint or spearmint leaf.

It can be used as a beverage, accompanying raw fish dishes, such as sushi.
